Local newspaper readers select company’s cellular service as their category favorite
Clarksdale, Miss. (April 24, 2019) – The wireless communications unit of C Spire, a diversified telecommunications and technology services company, has been selected as the best cellular service provider in Clarksdale, Mississippi for the seventh straight year by readers of the weekly Clarksdale Press Register newspaper.
C Spire was recognized along with other winners in a special edition of the newspaper published today following a month-long readers choice contest in March. C Spire’s wireless unit, which runs the nation’s largest privately owned mobile communications provider, was named the best in class over another finalist, Verizon.

Thousands of votes were cast during the special Readers’ Choice Awards contest in 124 different categories ranging from construction, manufacturing, education and financial services to retail, health, legal and hospitality services, telecommunications, mobile services and information technology.
